The Coalition of Lighthouse Schools is a group of schools who have made a commitment to one-to-one computing as a significant means to equip students to be leaders in the 21st century.    The Lighthouse Initiative was a pilot program started by Apple Computer, Inc. that  was designed to help Independent schools that were committed to using state-of-the-art technology, to pioneer wireless, one-to-one laptop computing programs and thus enhance teaching and learning.  The iSummit gives leaders, teachers, and IT professionals access to the inside scoop on the latest technology to support a 1-to-1 learning environment in their school.
